Now I Am Known
Peter Mutabazi is the founder of Now I Am Known, an organization that supplies resources to support vulnerable children. Originally from Uganda, Peter ran away from an abusive home at age ten and lived as a street kid for nearly five years. Today Peter is a single dad to countless foster children and his adopted son, Anthony. For the past twenty years Peter has worked as a child advocate within the U.S. and globally to promote wellness and child development. He believes every child deserves to be seen, heard, and known. Peter has appeared on international media outlets and is a passionate speaker who resides in North Carolina.
New Horizons Adoption Agency Inc.,
New Horizons Adoption Agency (NHAA) is a licensed, non-profit, faith-based adoption agency. NHAA is Hague accredited to provide international home studies and services. NHAA also provides birth parent counseling and assistance. NHAA also provides Safe Haven for newborns to 90 days old.

Both Hands
Both Hands helps adoptive families and volunteer groups organize service projects for widows while raising funds for adoptions and orphan causes. Similar to a 5k race, a team of volunteers organize a service project helping a widow in their community and raise sponsorship for their day of service. All of the funds raised goes towards adoption costs or orphan care. James 1:27 in action!
Over 1,279 Both Hands projects have been completed across 45 states raising over $17.8 million for adoptions and orphan care! The average project has raised over $22,000 for adoptive families the last two years. Learn more at www.BothHands.org

Pathways For Little Feet
Pathways for Little Feet is a faith-based non-profit that assists families throughout their adoption journey. Our Adoption Financial Assistance Program intends to create relief from the financial burden of adoption through interest-free loans up to $10,000. The Post Adoption Support program provides financial assistance to adoptive families, adult adoptees, and birth parents through Counseling and Therapy Grants up to $5,000 as they seek Christian trauma-competent counseling. Through this program, we also offer conference and retreat scholarships and other resources throughout the adoption journey.

We work with international entities to search for placement opportunities and are the Iowa Homestudy Provider of Choice for most of them, working with the authorities, attorneys and agencies and with our families as they move through this life-changing experience. We counsel and assist birth parents anywhere within Iowa. We provide a thorough educational experience for all of our families, and we love them all.

Foster SQUAD
Giving a child a home is a remarkable gift. The Foster SQUAD is here to provide resources to Iowa foster families as they care for our community’s most vulnerable children. We provide a monthly training and support group as well as give children entering foster care a care kit. The kit consists of a brand new diaper bag or backpack with a blanket, water bottle, book, flashlight, and other things to make them feel welcome in their new home.
