Cristiana Amato is a foster and adoptive mom of six who speaks and writes about the intersection of faith, foster care, and family. She is a Christian and a photographer, runs the café at her church, and serves in her church’s foster and adoptive care ministry, walking alongside families who are loving children from hard places.

Through her blog, The Feathered Nest, Cristiana shares real and unfiltered stories of motherhood, trauma, redemption, and the grace of God at work in everyday life. Alongside her husband, Donny, she lives in North Carolina, where they continue to say yes to children who need safety, belonging, and to be fiercely loved.
