Nicole Young heard the gospel at a young age but chose a dark prodigal road that left her as a single teenage mom: depressed, desperate, and lost. For years, her life continued to spiral out of control into more brokenness, sin, and darkness. BUT GOD! In 2005, God radically transformed her heart with the life changing good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Giving her a new identity, a new hope, and a new story.
Since that time, Nicole has had an increasing burden to see women rooted and grounded in Christ for their salvation and to find their true identity in Him alone. She speaks at women’s retreats and events, leads women at her local church, and helps manage and contribute to the Saylorville Women’s Podcast.
Nicole lives in Polk City, Iowa, with her husband, Preston, their four children, one grandbaby, a dog, a lizard, and way too many plants. Nicole loves hiking in Colorado with her husband, reading endless amounts of books, running, playing board games with friends and family, and drinking lots of coffee.
